Gloria Estrada Welsh born June 6, 1947 in Manaoag Philippines, passed on February 28th 2014 in Jacksonville FL. Daughter of Francisco Estrada and Josefa Mangsat. A viewing will take place on Friday March 14th from 6-8pm at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd S. Jacksonville, FL 32216. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 1pm in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home with Father John R. Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery. She is survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 children who include Virginia, Aurora, John and Bobbie. Gloria was a loving mother who had a radiant spirit with compassion for others. She enjoyed the simple things in life; fishing, gardening and family. She was a hard worker and dedicated over 15 years protecting the public as a Security Officer at G4S. Gloria was courageous, strong and a loyal friend, she guided us through her beliefs, that with Christ we can accomplish anything. We are Blessed to have be loved by such an extraordinary woman and to know she is in Heaven as our guiding Angel. We love you dearly and miss you truly.
