Glyndon Ferrell Barton

Mr. Glyndon Ferrell Barton, 78 of St. Johns, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018. Mr. Barton was born May 30, 1939 in Keystone Heights. He was a supervisor for Center Brothers Construction. His wife, Ailene (Matthews) Barton, and his son, James Richard Estes, preceded him in death. Survivors are his children, Barbara Estes of Jacksonville, David Wayne Estes of Jacksonville, Don Barton of Monticello, and Sandra Jean Barton of Orangedale, as well as 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Helm-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel, 1811 Idlewild Avenue, SR 16, Green Cove Springs, with Brother Henry Hodges officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the start of the service. Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery.
