Gordon Harold Touchton, born September 5, 1932, went to his eternal home on December 13th, 2024.He was preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Lou Touchton and 7 siblings, all of Jacksonville FL. He is survived by Barbara Edenfield Touchton, the mother of his two daughters, Terri Touchton Myrick, and Carol Touchton Vivante. He has 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, all of whom reside in California. Gordon is also survived my many nieces, nephews as well as his friend and caregiver, all from Jacksonville. He was a lifelong member of the Franklin Street Baptist Church.After graduating from Andrew Jackson High School of Jacksonville, he joined the army and served in Korea. After returning from overseas, he was employed by Seaboard Railroad, Jacksonville Police Department, and finished his career in the insurance business. Dad, you are loved and missed by so many.A memorial service will be held on March 4, 2025 at 11AM at the Franklin Street Baptist Church, 2521 Franklin Street Jacksonville, FL 32206The inurnment will take place on March 4, 2025 at 2:30PM (Lane #2) in the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road Jacksonville, FL 32218.
