Grace Lee Preston Newman Funeral services for Grace Lee Preston Newman, 84, who passed away on February 17, 2014, will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM from the graveside in Evergreen Cemetery (Gate #5) with Pastor Edward O. Hall officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday (Today) from 5-7 PM in George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main St., Jacksonville, FL 32206. Mrs. Newman was born in Richmond, Virginia and was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, Florida. She was past president of Rebecca Lodge. Mrs. Newman was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, the late Thermon George Newman. Survivors include 3 daughters, Joyce L.
