Funeral services for Gregory Shayne Cotter, 66, who passed away on March 8, 2014, will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. in Wesley Fellowship United Methodist Church, 5400 Pearl Street, with Rev. Gary Tarleton officiating. Interment will follow at 1:30 PM in Jacksonville National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday (Today) from 6-8 PM at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. Mr. Cotter was born in Oshawa, Canada, raised in upstate New York. He resided in Jacksonville, Florida since the mid 1970's. He was a member of Wesley Fellowship United Methodist Church. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Vietnam Conflict. Survivors include his loving wife of 20 years, Wanda Cotter; 1 daughter, Candice Jill Gray (Steve); 2 grandchildren, Brandon and Brianna Gray.
