Gregory P Samuel, age 76, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2023, after a brief battle with cancer. Greg is predeceased by his parents Victor and Jennie Samuel. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna, daughter Tracee Samuel, son Scott Samuel (wife Kristina), his brother Ron Samuel Sr. (wife Helen Marie) all of Jacksonville, FL. Three grandchildren also survive him: Jameson Dunkley (wife Jessica), Colby Barger (husband Hunter) and Landon Samuel.Visitation will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023, between the hours of 6-8pm at George H. Howell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South Jacksonville, FL 32216.A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at 11am with a viewing to be held one hour prior in the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 6320 Bennett Road Jacksonville, FL 32216 with Father Michael J. Larkin as celebrant.A celebration of life will take place immediately following the service in the church hall.In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a donation be made to Baptist MD Anderson.
