Ham Chang "Benny" Eng Mr. Ham Chang Benny Eng, 92 of Jacksonville, passed away on Monday June 3, 2013. A funeral service will be held on Monday June 10, 2013 at 10 AM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow in Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 PM on Sunday June 9, 2013 at the funeral home.Benny was a longtime resident of Jacksonville and attended Robert E. Lee High School. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served proudly in the Pacific Theatre during WWII. He was a Lifetime Member of V.F.W. Post 1689 and a contributing member of P.T. Boats, Inc. Benny was also retired from Mac Paper Company, where he worked as a machine operator. Benny was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lai Ho Eng & a daughter, Sue Hing Eng Chang. He is survived by his two sons, Bill Eng (Nikol) & W. Gene Eng (Elaine);a daughter, Sue Hong Joann Eng Yip (Freddy).
