Harold Walter Mize, Jr. Funeral services for Harold Walter Mize Jr., 77, who passed away on October 14, 2012, will be held Thursday at 11 AM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206 (904)355-9545. The family will receive friends Wednesday (Today) from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Hughes Cemetery, Yulee, Florida. Mr. Mize was born in Ion, California. He was a resident of Portsmouth, Virginia prior to moving to Yulee, Florida nearly 30 years ago. He was a member of the Baptist faith, Morocco Temple, Scottish Rite, and was active in the Shrine. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose North Jacksonville Lodge #2134. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force. Preceded in death by his son the late Walter Clark Mize; Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Blanch L. Cooper; 2 daughters, Linda M. Fuller (Mark) and Toni Sara Troxell (Charlie); 1 step daughter, Jo Ann Mattson; 1 daughter-in-law, Debbie Mize; 1 son, Mark A.
