Harold J. Seidel Harold J. Seidel, 76, of Jacksonville, FL went to be with the Lord on June 15th 2012. Harold, son of Claude C Seidel and May Quimby Seidel was born in Sterling, Illinois on July 2, 1935. Harold was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great- grandfather and uncle. Affectionately known, to his family as Tiny or Skeet.Harold was preceded into heaven by his loving wife Margaret, they were married for fifty five years. He is further preceded in death by his mother, father, two sisters and a brother.Harold is survived by his 5 children; Harold J. Seidel Jr. (Gale), Kathleen Umstetter; Margaret Howell (Dave), David W. Seidel (Lorraine), and Elizabeth M. Hendry (Jerry). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and his sister Pat Poston. Harold served in the U.S. Army for 20 years. He was a Chief Warrant Officer 3rd class earning 2 bronze stars and Vietnam Service Medal. Harold continued working for the government until 1996 at the Naval Air Station Jacksonville as director of transportation. Harold also graduated from Jones College.Harolds commitment to his faith and family was inspirational.Family will receive friends at the visitation on Wednesday June 20, 2012 from 6-8PM at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South Jacksonville, FL 32216. A memorial service will be held at the University Boulevard Church of the Nazarene, 4004 University Boulevard, South Jacksonville, FL 32216 on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 4PM with Pastor Larry D.
