Harriet Grace Dickey

Mrs. Harriet Grace Dickey age 88 of Melrose passed away at her home Sunday, February 24, 2019. She was born in Washington, Dc to Malcolm and Cledythe (Harner) Stickey. Mrs. Dickey was a retired school teacher and had moved to Melrose in 2016 from Virginia. She was a member of Paran Baptist Church and enjoyed reading about history and especially enjoyed traveling. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband of 59 years James Dickey. Mrs. Dickey leaves behind two daughters Diane Tabler of Melrose and Linda Russell of Melbourne and was lovingly call "Grandma" by two grandsons J.D. Tabler and Kevin Tabler and one great grandchild Silas Tabler. A memorial service for Mrs. Dickey and her husband James will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2019, in the Paran Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Litzell and Pastor David Price officiating.
