Mr. Harry Richard Collier age 68 of Starke, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009 at E.T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville. Mr. Collier was born in Plant City on October 13, 1940 to the late Pete and Lillian Reba Phillips Collier and was a longtime resident of Bradford County. He retired from the Florida Department of Corrections working at Florida State Prison as a Sergeant, was a member of the Church of Christ in Starke, and was a former member of the Bradford and Union County Riding Clubs. Survivors are his wife Ferrell Thomas Collier of Starke; daughters: Phyllis Kennedy and Fiance Ronald King, Sr.; Tina Northrup and her husband Keith all of Starke; grandchildren: Brandi Clance and her husband Dalon; Karla Kennedy; Kasey Kennedy all of Starke; Erika Broom and her husband Bud of Jacksonville; great granddaughter: Madyson Broom; sister: Doris Johnson and her husband Billy of Plant City. The family will receive friends at the JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME on Sunday, May 3rd from 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be on Monday, May 4, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the DeWitt C.
