Harry C. Pierce

Mr. Harry C. Pierce age 80 of Waldo passed away at his home on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Harry was born on May 7, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Joseph and Ruby "Ellis" Pierce. Harry was a special person and loved to help people throughout his life even though he had a hard life at different times he never really showed that side.Harry worked for Ford Motor Company in New York on the assembly line. He loved Grand Father Clocks and spent most of his later years collecting and repairing clocks of all different types. He also enjoyed owning and operating Flea Markets, fruit stands and loved to be involved with vehicles of all types.He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Joseph William Pierce, Jr., James Russell Pierce, Margaret Berry, Janet Weiss, Elsie Riggs, Raymond Pierce, Juanita Macintyre and Anne Mejia. He was survived by his siblings, Phillip Michael Pierce of Virginia, Edith Nandury of Warrenton, Virginia, Lorraine Cuniham of Laytonsville, Maryland, and Darlene Pine of Strasburg, Virginia; along with many nieces and nephews.A visitation will be held at The DeWitt C. Jones Chapel on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 beginning at 11:00 a.m.In lieu of flowers, the family request for donations to be made in Mr. Harry C.
