Hazel Jeanette Burris

Mrs. Hazel Jeanette (Green) Burris, age 83, of Orange Park, died Saturday, February 27, 2016 in Middleburg. She was born on April 19, 1932, in Clay County, the daughter of the late Willie and Jennie (Mosley) Green. Mrs. Burris was a homemaker and was a member of Fox Meadow Baptist Church in Middleburg. She enjoyed cooking, quilting and sewing. She was pre-deceased by her husband Archie Burris. She is survived by her children: Sharon Watson (Kenneth), Glenn Burris (Sherry), Kenneth Burris, Joey Burris (Ramona) and Jodi Palacios (Victor), sister, Vernie Mae Adams all of Middleburg, nine Grandchildren, twelve Great Grandchildren and two Great- Great Grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Thursday afternoon March 3, 2016 from 1 to 2 PM at the HELM-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 1811 Idlewild Ave., SR 16, Green Cove Springs. Services will follow at the funeral home chapel at 2 o'clock with Pastor John Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Peoria Cemetery, Orange Park. The Pall Bearers are: Scotty Watson, Richard Byer, Victor Palacios, Chris Burris, Nick Burris and Travis Burris.
