Hazel Crawford Muse

Mrs. Hazel Crawford Muse age 85, of Lawtey passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021 at Lake Howard Heights assisted Living Facility in Winter Haven. Hazel was born on October 3, 1935 in Lawtey to the late Jack and Lettie (Edwards) Crawford and was a lifelong area resident. Mrs Muse was a member of the First Christian Church of Starke and prior to retirement she worked as a Health Care administrator. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Erwin "Ed" Muse, her son Stephen Muse, siblings, Lloyd Crawford, Betty Rosenberry, and Jack Crawford. Survivors are, her children, Richard Muse (Jim) of Kissimmee, Mike Muse (Dorothy) of Glen Burnie, MD, Susie Muse Hoeing (Rich) of Davenport, and Jimmy Muse of Louisville, KY, siblings, Gloria Shuford of Lawtey, Vivian Crawford of Starke, and Darold Crawford (Dale) of Georgia. Also left are her seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren along with her beloved grand dogs and great grand dog. The family will receive friends at the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel of Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 5-7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel.
