Helen Montele Baker, 92, of Hampton, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2024. She was born on December 28, 1932, in Tallapoosa, Georgia, to the late Benjamin Shealy and Fannie Summerville Shealy.Helen earned her GED and worked as a secretary in the Civil Defense industry. She was a lifelong Baptist and took great joy in her family, which was the center of her life. Helen loved playing bingo and cherished the time spent with her loved ones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Baker, children, Jeffery Baker and Katherine Baker along with 11 siblings.Helen is survived by her children: Boyd Dean Baker of Graham, Charles Baker (Jeannie) of Hampton, Ann Baker Davis (Paul) of Hampton She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren who were the light of her life.She will be fondly remembered for her kindness, her unwavering love for her family, and her joyful spirit.
