Helen Elizabeth Glasgow

Mrs. Helen Mersereau Glasgow age 104, of Starke, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018 in Jacksonville Beach. Helen was born on May 29, 1913 to the late Thomas Anthony and Helen Mable (Howe) Mersereau in Blissville Junction, New Brunswick, Canada. The family immigrated to Florida about 1922. She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Starke. Prior to retirement she worked as a Loan Officer and Assistant Cashier for Florida National of Starke. Helen was predeceased by her husband Harold Glasgow, two brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her sister, Florence Silcox as well as several nieces and nephews. A private graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in Kingsley Lake Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to Community Hospice, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257. Arrangements are by JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME OF STARKE.
