Mrs. Helen Hazel McClenaghanMrs. Helen Hazel McClenaghan age 86, of Jacksonville passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Acosta Rua Center for Caring. Mrs. McClenaghan was born on August 21, 1924 in Jacksonville to the late William and Annie McStephenson Silcox and was a longtime resident of Starke and Jacksonville. She worked at Big Dads sewing factor as an inspector for many years. Mrs. McClenaghan was a Baptist, enjoyed spending time with her family, and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her husband James Russell McClenaghan. Survivors are her children: Patricia Muse and David McClenaghan (Chris) both of Starke; George McClenaghan and Eric McClenaghan both of Jacksonville; sister: Doris Minton of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL in Starke on Friday, May 20, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with funeral services starting at 11 oclock. Pastor Justin Kirksey will officiate. Interment will follow services in Crosby Lake Cemetery.
