Helen Goulding Myers Helen Goulding Myers went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 27, 2013, and to be reunited with her loving husband of 57 years Douglas L. Myers. She was born on October 29, 1924, in Washington, D.C. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her four children, Bob Myers and his wife, Jane; Barbara McGrady and her husband, Bill; Buddy Myers and his wife, Suzanne, all of Fredericksburg, VA; and Patti Crosby and her husband, Scott, of Jacksonville, FL; 12 grandchildren, Scott Collins, Todd Collins, Neil Collins, Ashley Edwards, Kelsey McGrady, Dylan McGrady, Jacob McGrady, Zachary McGrady, Megan Hellmer, Lauren Myers, Amanda Crosby, and Elizabeth Crosby; and 12 great-grandchildren, Haleigh Collins, Austin Collins, Alexa Collins, Carson Collins, Sarah Collins, Emily Collins, Abigail Collins, Gavin Edwards, Brenley Edwards, William Edwards, Charlotte Hellmer, and Caroline Hellmer. She was an active and faithful member of Southpoint Baptist Church in Jacksonville. Her interests included gardening, sewing, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. The family will receive friends at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S., Jacksonville, FL, on Sunday, March 3, 2013, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Monday, March 4, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Southpoint Baptist Church, 3335 Tiger Hole Rd., Jacksonville, FL, with Dr. Terry Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd., Jacksonville, FL.
