Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Mary Williamson, 92, will be held at 1:00p.m. Friday, July 29, 2022 in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South with Dr. Terry N. Collins of Southpoint Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Mandarin Cemetery. Born December 27, 1929 in Camden, New Jersey to Mary and Samuel Hoffman, Mrs. Williamson died Friday, July 22, 2022 in Jacksonville. Helen resided in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Yorktown, Virginia, Miami, Florida, and Sanibel Island, Florida before moving to Jacksonville in 2006. She was predeceased by two sisters, Jean E. Hoffman Mullen and Marie Hoffman Cheleotis; a son, Michael Lamar Williamson and a niece, Cynthia Cheleotis. Helen is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Bobby Lamar Williamson; three sons, Stephen Craig (Cheryl) Williamson, Keith Clayton Williamson, and Wayne Alan (Leanne) Williamson; five grandsons, Ian Andrew, Ryan Lamar, Kyle Craig, Jason Michael and Christopher Wayne Williamson; two granddaughters, Alyssa Williamson Narramore and Megan Williamson Hancock; six great-grandchildren, Judah Draven Williamson, Mark Lawrence Williamson, Luna Williamson, Ember Leigh Narramore, Luke Patrick Narramore, and Owen Sawyer Hancock; and eight nieces and nephews, Bruce, Tassos, Athena, Nicolas, Terry, Amy, Frank and Charlotte.
