Hendrix Alexander Kagey, 5, of Keystone Heights, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.Born in Gainesville on September 12, 2017, to Desiree Kagey.Preceded in death by his sisters; Indigo and Freedom Kagey, grandmother Tammy Hamilton Jones, and grandfather Merle Hamilton.He is survived by his parents Desiree Kagey and James Everson, sister Primrose Kagey, grandparents; Tiffany (James) Myers, Jason Kagey, Terry Jones, Paul (Sherry) Myers, Phyllis Hamilton, and Janet Maxwell. Extended family Brittany Tillquist, Christy Shenk, Alfonso Figueroa, Jake (Jayce) Kagey, Isaiah (Dakota) Kagey, Christian Figueroa, Abigail Kagey, Rhyker Kagey, Gage Tillquist, Gunner Tillquist, Gatlon Tillquist, Collin Shenk, Haley Custer and Leah Shenk.A Celebration of life service will be conducted on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 4:30 pm in the chapel of Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home in Keystone Heights. Visitation with the family will be one prior (3:30pm - 4:30pm) to the service. After service Hendrix will be laid to rest in Woods Chapel Cemetery, New Market, VA.
