Henry Michael "Hank" Carlee

Mr. Henry M. "Hank" Carlee age 77, of Keystone Heights passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Community Hospice Bailey Center. He was born in Manhattan, New York on March 15, 1939 to the late Jhon Jacob "Harry" and Elizabeth (Nolan) Carlee. Following his service in the Army during the Korean War, he began working as a tradesman doing pipefitting and carpentry. While living in Bonita Springs, Mr. Carlee had started a business called Hanks Handyman Service. Hank enjoyed working with his hands whether it was building homes or working on automobiles. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Keystone Heights. Mr. Carlee enjoyed listening to soothing music and traveling around the country. He also loved spending time with his sons and grandchildren. He was a huge advocate of making time to play games with his children and their friends from the neighborhood. Mr. Carlee is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 40 years, Charlotte (Anderson) Carlee and their two sons, Jonathan D. Carlee (Melissa) of Lake Asbury and Christopher M. Carlee (Sarah) of Keystone Heights and a niece and nephew that he raised, Stephanie Gonzalez and Forrest James Spencer; as well as four grandchildren, Andrew F. Carlee, Jocylin E. Carlee, Benjamin M. Carlee and Elijah G. Carlee; Also left behind are his three beloved nieces; Joann Kobel, Patricia Patterson and Elizabeth Patterson and his nephew, Robert Inslee. The family will have a viewing at the funeral home, Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 6-8p.m. Funeral services for Mr. Carlee will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 29, 2016 in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roger Hoffman officiating.
