Henry Stephen Langenfelder

Mr. Henry Stephen "Hank" Langenfelder, 55, of Jacksonville, Florida, entered into rest on Monday, December 21, 2015. Mr. Langenfelder spent his childhood in Memphis, Tennessee before attending and graduating from the University of Mississippi where he loved cheering on his Rebels. For years, he has been a respected Team Member of the Bank of America family. An avid golfer, Hank was often victorious on his home course, achieving several championship awards. Most weekends, Mr. Langenfelder could be found serving in one of his many positions with the St. Johns Swim League where he earned the honor of becoming the namesake of the St. Johns Summer Swim League Henry S. Langenfelder Annual Championship Trophy. He was a dedicated member of Switzerland Community Church, singing in the choir and coaching the softball team. Mr. Langenfelder was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Jack Langenfelder, Sr. and Mary Cidney Langenfelder. He is survived by his two daughters, Katherine (Cameron) Steedley and Rachel Langenfelder, from his marriage to Holly Langenfelder, two granddaughters, Kaylee Grace Steedley and Aubrey Madison Steedley, his brother, Herbert Jack "Jay" (Tricia) Langenfelder, Jr., and many beloved nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Switzerland Community Church on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 11:00am with Rev. Wes Slough and Rev. Joseph Smith officiating. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service.
