Henry Clifford 'Cliff' Wynn

Henry Clifford "Cliff" Wynn, age 97, passed away on Tuesday February 27, 2018 at his residence for past couple years in Brookdale Southside in Jacksonville. A funeral service and Military Honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday March 3, 2018 from the graveside in Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207 with Rev. C.T. Spear as officiant.Cliff was born in Hamilton County, Florida on March 7, 1920 to Jessie Wynn & Bertie Selph Wynn, one of twelve children. He graduated from Jennings High School in Hamilton County and soon after joined the United States Coast Guard. After his war service during WWII, he went to barber school. Cliffs first job out of school was in Reds Barber Shop. He later opened shops of his own; and his most recent, Cliffs Barber Shop in Lakewood, is still in operation. Cliff was always happy, friendly & ready with a joke to make you smile. He enjoyed fishing, bird hunting, gardening and sharing all of these joys with his friends & neighbors.Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, his 11 brothers & sisters and by his beloved wife of 52 years, Jean Wynn. He is survived by his loving daughter Arline Farnsworth of Fernandina Beach, FL; a granddaughter, Jennifer Farnsworth of Powhatan, VA; 2 sisters in law, Virginia Wynn of Tallahassee, FL & Ernestine Wynn of Jacksonville, FL and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was a loving husband, father & friend for all of his years and many will miss the smiles he provided them.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Cliffs name to the American Heart Association or to the charity of your choice.Arrangements are under the direction of George H.
