Funeral services for Herbert Wayne Rowe, 83, will be held at 10:00a.m. Saturday, January 8th in Lakewood Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Joy Laughridge officiating. Burial will follow at 3:30p.m. in Brushy Creek Cemetery, Sparks, Georgia with military honors by the United States Coast Guard.Born October 2, 1938 in Adel, Georgia to Grace and Herbert Rowe, Mr. Rowe died Sunday, January 2, 2022 in Jacksonville. Mr. Rowe, a retired Master Chief, United States Coast Guard, with 34 years of service was a member of Lakewood Presbyterian Church and a retired salesman in the food industry.Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lorelei Joan Wolf Rowe of Jacksonville; and three cousins, Jerry Rowe of Jacksonville, Tom Rowe of Knoxville, Tennessee and Hilda Outlaw of Willacoochee, Georgia.
