Mr. Howard Bruce Aldrich age 78, of Starke passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Aldrich was born on April 26, 1933 in Pike, New Hampshire and was a longtime area resident. Prior to retirement he was a long distance truck driver and served his country during the Korean Conflict. He was a Loving father and an avid hobbyist, building and operating remote controlled model airplanes. Howard was also an artist and possessed an airplane pilots license. He was preceded in death by his mother Louise Aldrich and his wife Nietha Aldrich. Survivors are: his sons: William Bill Aldrich; Aaron Aldrich (Susan) all of Jacksonville; Bruce Aldrich (Sherry) of Cincinnati, Ohio; six grandchildren; caregiver: Phyllis Robbins of Starke.
