He was proud to serve his country as a member of the U.S. Army. His primary career was with Davis Gas in Gainesville where he worked as a manager for 35 years, retiring in 1995 to Crystal River, FL. He was always a member of his local Nazarene church and severed on several church boards through the years. He loved fishing, spending time with his and his wife's siblings, and most of all... Christmas.Howardis preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Morrison, whom he was married to for sixty-five years, as well as brothers George, Jack and James Morrison and sisters Lorraine and Jean Morrison.Howardis survived by his sons Roger and Scott Morrison, daughters Darlene Bice (Bill) and Diane Webb, grandchildren Trey Bice, Brittany Bice Hinshaw and Dylan Webb, and sisters Eleanor and Ella Mae Morrison, as well as countless nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly.Visitation will be held atForest Meadows Funeral Home at 725 NW 23rd Avenue, Gainesville, FL onWednesday, December 11, 2019 at2:00 P.M.
