Hunter "Little Man" Starling age 8, of Lawtey passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 in Tennessee. He was born in Gainesville on January 19, 2008 and was a 3rd grader at Northside Christian Academy. Hunter with the number "15" jersey played on the All Star Baseball team and loved being outdoors hunting or fishing; he also enjoyed learning about different types and brands of knives. Even though he was only 8 years old, Hunter had a heart of gold and was always thinking of others; he never met a stranger either. To know Hunter was to love Hunter. He was preceded in death by his dad, papa, and granddaddy. Hunter is survived by his mom, Tabitha (Ritz) Starling; Brenda Starling "Grammy"; Betty Starling "Lawtey Granny"; Carolyn Holmes "Starke Granny"; uncle Greg and aunt Annett "Net Net" Starling and aunt Pam "Teeta" and uncle Chris Burnham; aunt Erica and Cj, Braxton, Bentley and YaYA. Also left behind are many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A celebration of Hunters life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Northside Baptist Church with Pastor Toby Roehm officiating.
