MOSLEY:Ida Mae Colvin Mosley, 102, passed away peacefully at Taylor Care Center of Jacksonville, Florida on February 26, 2020. She was born on May 9, 1917 in Lake City, Florida to the late John Colvin and Ida Margaret Roberts Colvin. Along with her parents; she was predeceased by her infant daughter Charlotte, daughter Ann Haddock Barnhart and husband of 67 years, Horace Mosley. She is survived by three children, Freddy (Virginia) Fernandina Beach, FL, Jim (Sherryl) Jacksonville, FL and Sandra (Fred) Cleveland, TN, nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.Ida Mae was a faithful member of the Garden City Church of God the majority of her adult life, and later in her most senior years the Lane Avenue Church of God. She lived and practiced her faith in her Lord and Savior. Ida Mae was an old fashioned, full time housewife and Mother. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren and showed it by taking great care of them. She also cared for many other children in her circle of family and friends. She was known for being a wonderful cook. Her specialty was potato salad, pot roast and hot buttered biscuits. She was dearly loved by her family and will be missed by all of us..VisitationGeorge H.
