Mrs. Ida M. Merritt Stebbins 92, of Keystone Heights passed away December 10, 2011 in Jacksonville at the Community Hospice. Mrs. Stebbins was born on April 28, 1919 in Merritt Island, FL to the late James W. and Lulu (Holder) and was a homemaker. In 1983 Mrs. Stebbins had moved to Keystone Heights from Port Ritchie, FL and became a member of the Lake Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son; James F. Merritt. Survivors are her husband of 30 years; J.R. Stebbins of Keystone Heights, daughters; Nettie Lambert of North Carolina, Georgia Boykin of Keystone heights, sons; Mike Merritt (Genie), Robert Merritt both of Jacksonville and one brother; Bill Pinner of Miami. She also leaves behind her three grandchildren, and six great grandchildren Funeral services for Mrs. Stebbins will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with the viewing beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Steve Hayes and Pastor Jim Snell will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Keystone Heights Cemetery.
