Idell Crews Spivey

SPIVEY: Ms. Idell Crews Spivey passed away January 12, 2018, in her home in Jacksonville, Florida following an extended illness. Ms. Spivey was born March 19, 1927 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Noah Crews and Loucinda Willoughby Crews. She was retired from Southern Bell. She was a member of the North Jacksonville Baptist Church where she joyfully sang in the choir for thirty years. She was a graduate of Andrew Jackson class of 1945. She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Idus M. Spivey; Two sisters Cleo Whitter and Iris Green; And two brothers Faye Crews and Brenton Crews. Survivors are two sons and their spouses Dale Spivey (Dianne) and Kevin V. Spivey (Sibyl) : Two daughters Cindy Helling, and Leesa Hunnicutt (Jeff); Sisters, Norma Bowen Snyder and Lois Lourcey; And seven grandchildren, Daphne Cox, Derek Spivey, Kristin Spivey, Karen Meyer, Brandon Helling, Jeffery Hunnicutt Jr., and Jesse Hunnicutt; Great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the North Jacksonville Baptist Church, 8531 North Main Street with Rev. Chris Coram officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service at the church. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of George H.
