Mrs. Imogene Lott age 69, a longtime resident of Hampton passed away at her home on Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Mrs. Lott was born on October 11, 1943, in Live Oak to the late Eli and Palmer (Green) Thomas. She was a retired Health Care Provider and had attended the Sampson City Church of God. She also enjoyed cooking, crafting, antiques, and gardening. Mrs. Lott was preceded in death by her husband; Ples Hank Lott, Jr., a granddaughter; Amanda Cross, and three siblings; Lucille Clark, James Thomas, and Robert Thomas. Survivors are her two daughters; Geneva Prevatt of Hampton, and Janice Lott of Keystone Heights; five sons; Timothy Bennett (Tina) of Taylor, Curtis Bennett of Macclenny, Danny Bennett and David Cross both of Hampton, and Donnie Lott of Keystone Heights. Also left behind are two siblings; Oscar Thomas of Atlanta, Georgia and Annett Durham of Dowling Park, and thirteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 20, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel with Reverend Gene Bass officiating, and burial following at Hope Cemetery.
