Irene E. Miss Irene Ball, 89 of Starke died Thursday, May 21, 2009 at Shands AGH following a sudden illness. Miss Irene was born in Leroy, IL on Oct. 17, 1919 and moved to Starke in 1983 from Champaign, IL. Prior to retirement Miss Irene had worked for Wal Mart in the Fabric Department for 20 years. Miss Irenes survivors include her daughter, Patricia Glenn of Starke. Grandchildren: Michelle Best of Starke; Rhonda Ward and Russell Ball both of IL; Kelly Hallowell of Keystone Heights; seven great grandchildren & ten great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, one brother, one on, and one grandson. Viewing for Miss Irene will be on Monday, May 25, 2009 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 2 oclock in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at the Keystone Heights Cemetery.
