Iris Lee Cone, born Iris Lee Faircloth on April 21, 1933 in Chiefland, FL, peacefully passed away at home on Monday, February 19, 2024, in Gainesville Florida, at the age of 90. She was the beloved wife of the late William Herbert Cone. Her loving husband as well as her mother, father, and three sisters were waiting for her at those Pearly Gates. Iris will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Anita Ann Graves; two grandchildren, Juanita and Daniel Graves Jr.; and three great grandchildren, Nicholas Henderson Jr., and Jamison and Gunner Graves. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Gainesville, FL on Monday, February 26, 2024 with funeral services following. Pastor Dean Slocumb will be officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Forest Meadows Memorial Park Central. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Meadows Funeral Home, Gainesville, FL.
