Ivalene Copeland ChittyMr. Ivalene Copeland Chitty age 84, of Melrose passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Shands at Starke. Mrs. Chitty was born on November 11, 1927 in Archer to the late Gary and Atha (Bradberry) Copeland and moved to Melrose in 1965. Ivalene was a member of Hope Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years James L. Chitty and son Joel Wayne Chitty. Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law Michael H. and Sadie Chitty of Starke, sister: Monteen Crenshaw of Starke, three grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. A viewing for Mrs. Chitty will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in HOPE BAPTIST CHURCH with funeral services beginning at 11 oclock. Interment will follow in Crosby Lake Cemetery. Pastor Larry Strickland will officiate.
