Jack Gerald Baer, 84, went home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2022. Jack Gerald Baer was born December 3, 1937 to parents William and Eva Baer in Camp Hill, PA. He graduated from Camp Hill Sr. High School in 1956. Jack joined the Air Force in 1957 where he was an airplane mechanic. In 1969 he moved to Jacksonville and was an electrical estimator for over 30 years.A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday February 8, 2022 at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218-1247.Jack is preceded in death by his parents, wife of 47 years Joan, older brother and sister. He leaves to cherish his memory; son, Jeffrey Scott Baer (Felicia); daughter, Jody Bell; daughter, Cindy Sole; grandchildren, Brittany Russell, Jack Baer, Tracy Sole, Christy Sole, Kyle Sole; great-grandchild Olivia Trotta; sister Edith Starr and many other relatives and friends.Throughout Jacks life he enjoyed spending time with his wife, fishing with his son, going on cruises, parties with friends, and golfing. He was a huge sports fan and shared that love with his son.
