It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jack K. Cawley, who departed this life on April 13, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on December 17, 1932, in Augusta, Georgia, Jack lived a life marked by dedication and commitment to those he served. A proud resident of Gainesville, Florida, he spent many years devoted to his work as a dental technician at the VA Gainesville, where his meticulous craftsmanship brought comfort and care to countless veterans.

Jack is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Judi Daniel (Peter Rushkoski), Sandra McNeely, and Tamara Del Rio (Darryl Del Rio), who carry on his legacy of compassion and strength. Jack is a cherished Grandfather of 5 and loving Great Grandfather. Although he leaves this world, his spirit and influence will continue to resonate in the lives of all who knew him.

Funeral services will be private, immediate family only as per Jack's wishes.

As we reflect on Jack's extraordinary journey, we find comfort in knowing that he touched the lives of many, leaving behind a story of service, love, and unwavering commitment to family. His memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Jack was preceded in death by Loving Wife Virginia Cawley, his parents James Cawley  and Claddie Pedersen and his brother James Cawley Jr.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to be made to The American Cancer Society or Haven Hospice of Florida.
