Mr. Jack Selman Davis, 90, of Keystone Heights passed away at the Florida Hospital on Monday, April 16, 2012. Mr. Davis was born in Atlanta, GA on October 26, 1921 to the late Benjamin Franklin and Ruth Mae (Holley) Davis and had served in the United States Air Corps as a Pilot during World War II. Prior to retirement Mr. Davis was a Statistics Analyst for the Southern Bell Telephone Company. He had been a resident of Keystone Heights since 2000 moving from Gainesville and he was a member of the Paran Baptist Church. Mr. Daviss wife Sue had preceded him in death in 2007. Survivors are his three sons; James S. Davis (Judy) of St. Augustine, Jack Holley Davis (Gayle) of Jacksonville Beach, and Richard Aaron Davis (Jackie) of Cincinnati. Mr. Davis also leaves behind his four grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. with Dr. David Rice officiating.
