Jack Wesley Greene, 77, passed away on Tuesday June 2, 2015 at his home in Jacksonville. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday June 6, 2015 at Florahome First Church of God Cemetery in Putnam County, FL with Chaplain Kimberly Weir officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday June 5 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S. Jack was born to the late Morton & Ione Greene on July 9, 1937 in Portville, New York. He was a longtime resident of the area, first in Green Cove Springs and for the last forty years in Jacksonville. Jack served his country proudly in the United States Army Reserves and later owned his own overhead garage door business. He will be remembered for his hard working nature. Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Marilyn V. Greene; a daughter, Angela Robinson; a sister, Mary Louise and many extended family members.
