Jack Phillip Ohlschwager

Mr. Jack Phillip Ohlschwager 75 of Keystone Heights passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021, at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville. He was born November 26, 1945, in Geneva, Illinois to Phillips and Mildred (Olson) Ohlschwager. Mr. Ohlschwager served in the United States Army and retired from the University of Florida. He was a member of the Am vets Post 86 in Keystone Heights where he was a plank owner; he also enjoyed growing his own vegetables. Growing up, Jack enjoyed racing cars, playing pool and being on the water boating and swimming. He also loved animals and helped raise and take care of chimpanzees with his wife Florence. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Florence (Bonniksen) Ohlschwager. His survivors are his daughters Sherry Malson, Debi Greenberg, Donna Dileo; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren and a host of friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 16, 2021. Interment will be at the Keystone Heights Cemetery. Arrangements are by JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 340 E.
