Howell of Keystone Heights, Florida went to his heavenly home on Friday, June 22, 2024 -- which would have been his mothers 81st birthday.Jackie was born in Pinellas Park, Florida but grew up in La Crosse, Florida.He moved to Keystone Heights in 1992 after marrying the Love of his life.Jackie was employed as an auto electric mechanic at the family business, Alachua Generator Service, as a battery warehouse manager for Interstate Batteries and as a pyrotechnician for Zambelli Fireworks.He was an avid Florida Gators fan and longtime member of the Fighting Gator Touchdown Club. He was a previous Keystone Heights Indian football, weightlifting, and FFA booster. Jackie spent his younger years participating in high school and jackpot rodeos and loved the time he spent with his horses. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and storytelling with his family.Jackie is survived by his wife of 32 years Kimberly Bryans Howell, his sons Casey L. Howell of Keystone Heights, William Codi (Amber) Howell of Trenton, FL, Caleb M. Howell of Keystone Heights, two grandchildren Emma and Liam Howell, brother John (Kay) Howell of High Springs, FL and sister Judy Howell of La Crosse as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.He is preceded in death by his parents William (Bill) and Shirley (Polly) Howell, his paternal grandparents John and Clyde Howell and his maternal grandparents John and Reba Kelley.A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Freedom Baptist Church, 7207 State Road 21, Keystone Heights, FL 32656.
