Barnawell, age 71, a resident of Keystone Heights since 1996 formerly of Gainesville died Feb. 19, 2009 in Gainesville.Born on Oct. 29, 1937 in Middlesboro, KY, he was the son of the late H. F. and Grace E. (Hammer) Barnawell. Mr. Barnawell was a graduate of F.S.U. earning a degree in Business and was a veteran serving with the U.S. Air Force.Prior to his retirement he was employed as an All Claims Insurance Adjuster.He was a member of the Keystone United Methodist Church.He is survived by his wife of 46 years Sandra (Ellis) Barnawell. One brother: Thomas F. Barnawell Sr., of High Springs and Margaret Prevatt Smith of Panama City, FL and Myron Prevatt III of Tampa.Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday morning, Feb. 24, 2009 at 11 oclock at the Keystone United Methodist Church, 4004 SR 21 S., Keystone Heights with Pastor Don Corbitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Keystone Heights Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church building fund or to E.T. York Hospice Care Center, P.O.
