James Dewayne Buie 73, passed away August 19, 2024 in Jacksonville, FL. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at 10AM at Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the graveside service. Mr. Buie was a native of Jacksonville, FL and a long resident. He was a barber by trade and was a member of the Christian faith. He was preceded in death by his sister Libby Schlachter. Survivors include his wife; Lynda Constable Buie. His mother; Myrtle Buie. Two sisters; Betty J. Reynolds and Debbie Bensen (Russ). Two brothers; Stephen Buie (Anna) and Curtis Buie (Sylvia). A brother-in-law Leo Schlachter and six nieces and nephews.
