James Drew Cobb

Funeral services for James Drew Cobb, 56, will be held at 12:00P.M. Friday, in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South, with Rev. Glenn Wright officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Born June 13, 1961 in Belle Glade, Florida to Frances and Buck Cobb, Mr. Cobb died Monday, July 24, 2017 in Jacksonville. He grew up in the Church of God of Prophecy; was a graduate of Tomlinson College, Cleveland, TN; attended Lee University in Cleveland, TN; received his Bachelors Degree from Jones College; and worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst in computer technology. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Debra Louise Moore Cobb of Jacksonville; his mother, Mrs. Judy Crosby of Belle Glade, FL; a sister, Donna (Ken) Shipley , two nieces, Brooke (Daniel) Walters and Holly (Jeff) Toler, 4 great-nephews, 2 great-nieces all of North Carolina; his aunt, Jane Anderson of Belle Glade, FL; and many other aunts, uncles and loving relatives..FuneralFriday, July 28, 201712:00 PM Chapel of George H.
