Mr. James Duffy Davidson, age 70, of Keystone Heights passed away at his home, Thursday, May 4, 2016. He was born in El Paso, Texas on August 25, 1945 to the late James and Ernest (White) Davidson and had served in the United States Army Reserves for 3 years. Mr. Davidson retired as a Boiler Maker working all over the United States; he had also been a truck driver. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Clovis, New Mexico and he enjoyed traveling, fishing and hunting. Mr. Davidson was preceded in death by three brothers. His survivors are his wife of 53 years, Patricia "Pat" (Whelchel) Davidson and their four sons, James Davidson of Keystone Heights, David Davidson (Eileen) of Virginia, Russell Davidson of Bushnell, and Danny Davidson (Lisa) of Jacksonville; six siblings, Wanda Camp and Barbara Divilla both of San Antonio, TX, George Davidson (Ella) of Hendersonville, TX, Toy Davidson (Lisa) of Arkansas, Troy Davidson and Johnny Davidson both of Houston, TX. Also left behind are eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and his beloved jack russell, Jackie. The family had a time of gathering at Mr. Davidsons home, Saturday, May 7, 2016. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations please be made to Community Hospice, 4266, Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257.
