James Driscal Edwards

James Driscal Edwards, 67, went home to be with his Lord June 26th, 2021. Visitation will be held at Evans Carter Funeral Home on Thursday, July 1st between 5-7pm. Funeral service will be held graveside at Fort White Cemetery on Friday, July 2nd at 11:00am with Pastor Tom Reaves officiating. Evans Carter is handling the funeral arrangements. James was born in Marietta Georgia to Wilbur Edwards and Maxine Caldwell on May 24th 1954. He went to Columbia High School. James started his life farming and to this day said it was one of his favorite jobs. He enlisted in the United States Air Force for 4 years during the Vietnam war. James became an Electrician working at Florida Power and a pretty good one from everyone I speak to. James loved the Lord and was confident in his salvation, he was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Crystal River, FL. My Dad loved his family, and always told me that family was the most important thing. He was a good friend and co-worker to many people. He was a dedicated father and was always there for myself and my brother. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them and cooking them breakfast in the mornings. He will be dearly missed. James is preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Edwards; mother, Lorine Edwards; and mother, Maxine Caldwell. James is survived by his sisters, Teresa Boozer and Cindy Hodge; his children, Joshua Driscal (Lori) Edwards, Jared Samuel Edwards; and grandchildren, Kyra Cancel and James Driscal Edwards II.
