Mark Tanner officiating. Burial will follow in Jacksonville Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3:00p.m. until 5:00p.m. Sunday October 21, 2018 in George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South.Born August 1, 1974 in Glendora, California to Sylvia and James Gooding, Jimmy died Sunday, October 14, 2018 in Jacksonville. He was a member of The Church of ELEVEN 22 and loved boating, fishing and playing the guitar. Mr. Gooding was Director-PTC Configuration Management with Florida East Coast Railroad. He was with CSX Railroad for 19 years before joining Florida East Coast Railroad.Survivors include his wife, Danielle Lynn Gooding to whom he was a devoted husband for 25 years; and a loving father of two boys, James "Trey" Clarence Gooding III and Jackson Avery Gooding all of Jacksonville; his parents, James C. (Sylvia) Gooding , Sr. of Hilliard, FL; three sisters, Alisa (Artie) Carman of Jacksonville, Darlene (Leslie) Bennett of Callahan, FL and Sandra (Steve) Navarro of Colorado; two brothers, Michael Kevin Wallace and Kenneth (Amy) Wallace both of Jacksonville; and countless friends.
