James Ray Hill, SrFuneral services for James Ray Hill, Sr., 85, will be held at 1:00p.m. Saturday, November 6th from the graveside in Arlington Park Cemetery.Born July 10, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan to Mamie and John Hill, Mr. Hill died Wednesday October 27, 2021 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was the retired owner and operator of Hills Metal Roofing.Mr. Hill was predeceased by a son, Dennis Craig Hill; two sisters, Sharon Parker Hill and Doris Hill; and a brother, John" Sonny" Hill. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Erma Jean Bennett Hill; three daughters, Deborah Gayle (Raymond) Melvin, Rhonda Lee (Keith) Shanesy and Kelly Marie (Michael) Williamson, all of Jacksonville; two sons, James Ray Hill, Jr. of Jacksonville and William Frank (Peggy) Hill of Fruitland, Georgia; a sister, Ruth Ann Bodine of Harriman, Tennessee; a brother, Haskel Joe Hill of Jacksonville; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of George H.
