James Marvin Jones

James "Jimmie" Marvin Jones, 87, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 22, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Bobbie L. Jones, sister, Marie Hart of Gainesville, great nephew, Michael Dunn and fiance Cherri Stevens, Connor Stevens, and many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening, watching old western movies and listening to gospel music. He is predeceased by his step-son, Martty O'Neal Lee. He will be missed by many.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior at 9:30, at Evans Carter Funeral Home, 220 N Main Street, High Springs, FL. 386-454-2444.
