James Casey Jones

James Casey Jones, 93, of Alachua, FL passed away on August 16, 2020 in Waycross, GA. He was born in High Springs, FL on September 11, 1927 to John and Nettie Jones. He was married to Elizabeth Canara Jones for 70 years. He was very proud of his family and loved them very much. His family loves him very much and will miss him. James was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Canara Jones and his parents, John and Nettie Jones. He is survived by son, Bo Jones (Shelly) of Waycross, GA; daughter, Andrea Jones of Alachua, FL; grandchildren, Stephanie Jones of High Springs, FL, Tiffany Willis of Valrico, FL, Allison Snow of Durant, FL; step grandson, Doug Fernandez of Tampa, FL; 5 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at Forest Grove Baptist Church, Alachua, at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 29, 2020. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Forest Grove Cemetery.
