Listen to Obituary
James Junior Clark, 68, of Florahome went home to be with our Lord in heaven, Saturday, January 30, 2016. He was best known to his friends and loved ones as "Junebug", to his three daughters who adore him simply as "daddy". Born the son of Aubrey and Nellie Clark as the 8th of 12 children in the small town of Hortense, GA is where he spent most of his childhood before relocating to Florida in 1955. Throughout his adult life he lived most of his years in Middleburg and ultimately Florahome. He worked for Accousti Engineering Co. for 39 loyal years. Like his mother, he loved to fish and was a bass slayer like no other but more than his love of fishing was his unconditional love of family. Junebug was preceded in death by his father, mother, stepson, and eight of his siblings. He is survived by his wife, Tammy and his three daughters, Shelby, Lisa and Nichole; grandchildren, Cassandra, Eligah, Devin (Shelby), Hunter, Grayce, Cash (Lisa) and Trenton (Nichole) and one great grandchild Junior (Cassandra). Also left behind are his three siblings, Martha Little (Buddy) Troy Clark (Judy) and Carl Clark (Jim). Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 11:00 at Living Hope Family Worship Center with Pastor Dave Spedden officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Hortense Cemetery, Hortense, GA.
